Abstract: A writing assistive device, comprising a U-shaped body 101 accessed by user to accommodate palm within body 101 for assistance in writing over a surface, an imaging unit 102 installed over body 101 determine palm dimensions, a motorized hinge joint 103 integrated in body 101 provide rotation to ends of body 101 to grip user’s palm, a flap 104 attached with convex portion of body 101 and carved with a cavity 105 accessed by user to insert a writing tool, a motorized iris lid 106 installed in cavity 105 closes to grip the writing tool, multiple omnidirectional wheels 107 provide translation to body 101 over surface for enabling the user to write over surface, an OCR module synced with the imaging unit 102 determine text written by the user via writing tool, a speaker 108 installed over body 101 produce a voice command to inform user regarding misspelled text.
