Abstract: TITLE OF INVENTION: WOUND DRESSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF MAKING THEREOF The present invention pertains to a wound dressing device (10). The wound dressing device (10) includes an inner layer (50), an outer layer (20) disposed at least partially above the inner layer (50). The inner layer (50) is made of 60% (w/w) to 80% (w/w) of a polymer, 1% (w/w) to 5% (w/w) of a crosslinking agent and 5% to 10% (w/w) of a porogen. The outer layer (20) is made of 100% (w/w) of a polymer. The inner layer (50) includes a plurality of pores (54). The outer layer (20) includes a plurality of pores (24), each pore (24) having a pore size larger than a pore size of the plurality of pores (54) of the inner layer (50). In a collapsed state, the evacuator (120) is configured to create a negative pressure within the wound dressing device (10) to extract an exudate through the plurality of pores (54) of the inner layer (50) and the plurality of pores (24) of the outer layer (20).
