MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023222 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Wooden Logs Carriage Assistive Device.

Inventors include Dr. Ravi Kumar; and Dr. Kuldeep Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A wooden logs carriage assistive device, comprising a pair of elongated bodies 101 with inverted U-shaped handle 102 equipped with an air compressor that inflates an inflatable member 109 on the handle 102 to provide comfort, the bodies 101 being connected via fabric 103 to accommodate the logs, a user-interface in a computing unit wirelessly linked to the device enabling user input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 to determine the number and size of the logs, based on which a motorized roller 105 unrolls the necessary fabric 103 length to wrap the logs, electromagnets securely hold the bodies 101 together enclosing the logs, extendable plates 107, powered by pneumatic rods 108, are actuated based on the log length detected by the imaging unit 104, moisture sensors and heating units are incorporated to dry wet logs.
