Abstract: A wood cutting device, comprising a cylindrical structure 101 having a C-shaped telescopic rod 102 attached on the structure 101 for enabling a user to acquire a grip onto the structure 101, a hollow cuboidal member 103 disposed at an end of the structure 101 by means of a motor 104, wherein the member 103 is inserted in an elongated wooden piece for rotating the wooden piece, a rectangular base 201 having four telescopic links 202 for supporting the base 201 on a ground surface, an iris hole 203 for passage of the wooden piece while cutting, a pair of cutting blades 204 mounted on sliding units 205 being rotated by the motor 104 to remove material from the piece to provide a cylindrical shape to the piece and an imaging unit 206 to determine imperfections and dimensions of the wooden piece.
