MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511095219 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Ropar on October 03, 2025, for Wireless System For Acquisition And Stimulation Of Physiological Signals Or Bio-Signals And Method Of Operation Thereof.
Inventors include Halder, Rajat Suvra; Sahani, Ashish; and Kumar, Rajesh.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless system (100) for the acquisition and stimulation of physiological signals. An AFE (106) simultaneously receives a plurality of physiological signals or bio-signals from a patient or animal (102) and generates a conditioned bio-signals. A processing unit configured to apply digital filtering specific to the conditioned bio-signals, to generate processed bio-signal data. A wireless communication module (110) provided with an in-built antenna, to transmit the real-time processed bio-signal. An integrated user interface (112) may facilitate channel-specific selection of the physiological signal for acquisition, and provide adjustment of the stimulation parameters. A noise reduction circuit embedded in AFE (106) may automatically ground unused channels to prevent floating inputs and reducing noise during bio-signal acquisition, and an electrical stimulator (114) configured to generate stimulation outputs and wirelessly transmit the bio-signals to the computing device or cloud server.
