Abstract: Wireless Power Transfer System with Adaptive Impedance Matching for Electric Vehicle Charging is the proposed invention. The proposed invention includes a high frequency power converter, a transmitting and receiving compensation network, a wireless power transfer coil, a voltage and current sensing unit, a rectifier, a battery charging interface and an intelligent control unit. The sensing units continuously measure electrical parameters like voltage, current, phase difference, transferred power, reactive power, impedance characteristics, coupling conditions and battery charging requirements. The obtained parameters are considered as a dynamic state for the DRL controller to calculate optimal control actions for tuning the variable impedance elements and the parameters of the compensation network . The reward function considers charging efficiency, delivered power, impedance-matching error, reactive power, switching losses and operating constraints to continuously optimize the control policy. The system thus dynamically compensates for coil misalignment, coupling variations, load changes and battery operating conditions to ensure efficient and stable wireless power transfer. The invention offers adaptive, intelligent and robust EV charging with lower power losses and better energy transfer efficiency.
