Abstract: An intelligent adaptive smart crutch system (100) is disclosed for real-time mobility assistance and enhanced user safety. The system comprises a crutch body (101) integrated with a microcontroller unit (102) that executes control logic to process data from a multi- modal sensing unit (103). The sensing unit includes a pressure sensing module, an inertial measurement unit (IMU), and an ambient sensing module to capture load, motion dynamics, and environmental conditions. The microcontroller unit (102) classifies user states such as safe usage, overload, and fall risk using rule-based or machine learning models. Based on classification, an adaptive feedback module (104) delivers audio, visual, or haptic alerts, while an intelligent illumination unit (105) adjusts lighting according to motion and ambient light. A wireless communication module (106) transmits critical alerts to external systems. A power management unit (107) ensures efficient energy utilization, enabling continuous and reliable operation.
