Abstract: This project focuses on the development of an IoT-based Wireless Bionic Arm mounted on a Robotic Vehicle, designed for remote monitoring and precision handling. Unlike traditional gesture-controlled systems, this project leverages the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) by utilizing the Blynk IoT platform as the primary control interface. The system architecture consists of a mobile robotic platform and a multi-DOF (Degree of Freedom) bionic arm, both controlled via a customized dashboard on a smartphone. Data is transmitted from the Blynk cloud to an onboard microcontroller (such as an ESP32 or NodeMCU) over Wi-Fi. This allows for long-range, lag- free operation, enabling the user to maneuver the vehicle and manipulate the bionic arm’s grip and rotation from any location with internet connectivity. The integration of Blynk IoT provides a user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) with sliders and joysticks, offering a high level of precision in motor control. This setup is particularly effective for "Search and Rescue" or "Hazardous Material Handling" scenarios, where a human operator must remain at a safe distance while performing delicate tasks. The project demonstrates a cost-effective and scalable approach to remote robotics, combining mobility, mechanical dexterity, and cloud-based wireless communication.
