Abstract: A wire insulation testing device, comprises of a hollow cylindrical body 101 with a first and second portion 102, 103, first portion 102 to be gripped by a user to position second portion 103 of body 101 in contact with a wire insulation to be tested, an imaging unit 105 work in sync with a crack detection sensor to determine presence of cracks/damage over the wire insulation, a speaker 106 installed over the body 101 provide alert regarding detected cracks/damage, a motorized circular slider 107 for provide sliding movement to the pin 108 across surface extend and make proper contact with wire insulation for precise wire testing, a sensing module to measure dielectric parameters and to monitor performance of wire insulation in real-time, a comparator 111 to compare input current with output leakage current and accordingly speaker 106 alert user upon detecting zero error indicative of insulation failure.
