The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a window stay assembly (101) having mechanically variable insect-repellent exposure, installed between a window frame (100) and a movable window shutter (102). The assembly comprises a fixed mounting bracket (103) secured to the window frame (100), a stay arm (104) mechanically associated with the movable window shutter (102), an actuating linkage (105), a mechanical cam or profiled actuator (106), a follower member (107), an insect-repellent housing (108) receiving an insect-repellent element (109), and an exposure-control member (110) movable relative to an exposure opening (111). Movement of the movable window shutter (102) causes movement of the stay arm (104), transmitted through the actuating linkage (105), mechanical cam (106) and follower member (107) to displace the exposure-control member (110), thereby varying exposure of the insect-repellent element (109) according to the opening position of the movable window shutter (102), without requiring an electronic position sensor.
