MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641100024 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on August 19, 2026, for Wi-Fi Gloves Mouse.

Inventors include E. Venkat Sai Kiran; Dr. V. Nagaraju; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The invention presents a wearable WiFi-enabled glove mouse that replaces the traditional handheld mouse with an intuitive, gesture-controlled glove. The system uses flex sensors, an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), and tactile input switches to detect • finger movement, hand tilt, taps, and gestures. These inputs are processed by an ESP32 microcontroller and transmitted over WiFi to control pointer movement, clicks, and system commands on computers or smart devices. The glove provides high- precision cursor control using accelerometer/gyroscope data, supports customizable gesture shortcuts, and offers ergonomic operation without requiring a flat surface. Designed for portability, accessibility, and hands-free operation, the WiFi glove mouse introduces a new interaction modality combining wearable computing, gesture recognition, and wireless control.
