Abstract: ABSTRACT GRINDERS A grinder for grinding objects includes a base stone to rotate about a first axis. The base stone has a cavity with a first base zone formed as a 5 substantially flat surface. A roller stone is positionable on the base stone. Rotation of the base stone causes the roller stone to rotate about a second axis inclined to the first axis. The roller stone has a first roller zone substantially conical in shape configured such that for each point of contact, a ratio of a radial distance from the first axis to a diameter of the roller stone 10 is constant. The surface velocity of the roller stone at each point of contact equals the surface velocity of the base stone at the corresponding point. The first roller zone is accommodatable in the first base zone to perform rolling grinding during operation. 15
