Abstract: A welded surface smoothening assistive device, comprising a L-shaped body 101 gripped by a user to position a cuboidal housing 102 attached with the body 101 over a welded surface that is to be smoothened, an imaging unit 103 installed over the body 101 for determining dimensions of the welded joint over the surface, a laser projection unit 104 installed over the body 101 to project light over the surface to position the housing 102 over the projections, a motorized roller 105 installed beneath the housing 102 to rotate for scrubbing the welded joint, plurality of pneumatic spikes 106 installed over the roller 105 to extend to remove weld slag from the surface, a vacuum unit 107 installed within the housing 102 and connected to plurality of valves crafted over surface of the housing 102 to withdraw the weld slag and collect in a chamber arranged within the housing 102.
