Abstract: A weight sensing smart gas cylinder is an advanced solution designed to improve the safety, efficiency, and convenience of domestic and commercial gas usage. Traditional gas cylinder.s I lack real-time monitoring, often leading to unexpected depletion and potential safety hazards. This smart system addresses these issues by integrating weight sensors, microcontrollers, and communi6ation technologies to continuously monitor the quantity of gas available in the cylinder. The core component of the system is a load cell or weight sensor placed beneath the gas cylinder, which measures its weight and calculates the remaining gas level. This data is processed using a microcontroller and can be displayed on an LCD screen or transmitted to a mobile application via IoT technologies such as Wi-Fi or GSM modules. When the gas level drops below a predefined threshold, the system automatically sends alerts to the user, enabling timely refilling or booking of a new cylinder. In addition to monitoring gas levels, the smart cylinder system enhances safety by incorporating gas leakage detection sensors. In case of a leak, the system can trigger alarms' and even shut off the gas supply automatically, reducing the risk of accidents. Some advanced mddels also provide automatic booking services by connecting directly to gas agencies. Overall, the weight sensing smart gas cylinder represents a significant step toward smart home automation. It minimizes inconvenience, enhances user awareness, and improves safety standards. With increasing ad4tion of IoT-based solutions, such systems have the potential to become a standard feature in households, ensuring reliable and secure gas usage while contributing to technological advancement in everyday life.
