MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641116272 A) filed by Daksh Sawhney on September 28, 2026, for Web-Based System For Experiential Fraud-Recognition Training Using Simulated Threat Scenarios For Vulnerable User Populations.
Inventor includes Daksh Sawhney.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present invention (ScamSlayer) relates to a web-based system for experiential fraud-recognition training using simulated threat scenarios for vulnerable user populations, particularly senior citizens. A processor-implemented scenario engine retrieves a scenario record defining a fictional threat communication, associated fraud cues, decision nodes and selectable responses, and presents the scenario through a browser-accessible graphical interface. Simulated communications include purported arrest notices, phishing messages and impersonation attempts. A response-evaluation module classifies the user’s choices at successive decision nodes and provides corrective feedback identifying overlooked warning signs, explaining unsafe choices and indicating safer verification and reporting actions. A progress- tracking module records scenario-tagged performance events and determines changes in threat-recognition and response accuracy across training sessions. Based on recorded errors, the scenario engine selects subsequent scenarios that present previously missed cues in different contexts, thereby reinforcing practical recognition and response behaviour. The interface supports accessible presentation, and simulated payment or credential requests remain inoperative.
