Abstract: ABSTRACT WEB-BASED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE PLATFORM FOR CLIENT-SIDE PDF DOCUMENT SIGNING USING BROWSER-NATIVE PROCESSING The present invention discloses web-based electronic signature platform (100) for client-side PDF document signing. The platform (100) comprises a web-based user interface module (110) rendered within web browser, a PDF processing engine (120) utilizing client-side JavaScript PDF manipulation library for in-browser PDF operations, a signature capture module (130) providing canvas-based freehand drawing and image upload modes for signature creation, a Base64 encoding and decoding engine (140) for converting document and signature data between binary and text-safe formats, a signature embedding module (150) for inserting signature images into PDF documents at user-specified positions using coordinate transformation, and a signed document generation and download module (160) for producing downloadable signed PDF files. All processing is performed entirely within the client-side browser environment using browser-native JavaScript without any server-side communication, software installation, or user registration, thereby ensuring complete data privacy, offline operability, zero-cost deployment, and cross-platform compatibility across desktop and mobile devices.
