Abstract: Integrating weather monitoring allows the system to respond dynamically to changing environmental conditions. This combination enhances the efficiency of solar panels by ensuring they are always positioned for maximum sunlight exposure. This project focuses on creating a sun-tracking solar panel system integrated with a weather monitoring system. Using an Arduino Uno as the main controller, the system dynamically tracks the sun to maximize solar energy capture, adjusting the panel’s angle with a servo motor based on light intensity detected by an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). The DHT12 sensor monitors temperature and humidity, while a rain sensor detects precipitation, and a humidity sensor provides data on environmental moisture levels. This combination of sensors allows the system to optimize energy production and adjust to changing weather conditions, enhancing efficiency and safety by, for example, moving the panel to a neutral position during rain. This automated system is effective for renewable energy projects, ensuring sustainable energy collection while adapting to environmental factors.
