MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641099576 A) filed by Dr Magadevi N; S. Bharathi; and S. A. Engineering College on August 18, 2026, for Wearable Women Safety Device.

Inventors include Dr Magadevi N; and S. Bharathi.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: This proposed system presents a Wearable Women Safety Device designed to Facilitate immediate assistance during emergency conditions. The system consists of a transmitter unit and receiver unit, both controlled by ESP32 microcontrollers. The transmitter integrates an emergency push button, Acebot voice recognition module, SIM800L GSM module, and NEO-6M GPS module. During an emergency, the user can trigger the system either through the push button or voice command. The ESP32 processes the input and uses the GSM module to transmit an emergency alert along with the user's location obtained from the GPS module. The receiver unit receives the transmitted information through the communication network and processes it using microcontroller ESP32. The received data is used for continuous monitoring and initiating appropriate rescue processes. The proposed system aims to improve the safety of women by enabling rapid emergency detection, location tracking, communication, and response. It provides a robust mechanism for enhancing personal security, safety and reducing response time during critical situations.
