Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a wearable ultrasonic-based boundary detection system (100) for real-time animal containment and safety monitoring. The system (100) includes wearable collar device (102) having ultrasonic sensors (102-1), microcontroller unit (102-2), alert mechanism (102-3), and wireless communication interface (102-4). The microcontroller unit (102-2) executes sensor coordination unit (102-2A) to sequentially activate ultrasonic sensors (102-1) according to a time-multiplexed sensing schedule and acquire directional distance measurements. A signal processing unit (102-2B) processes the acquired measurements using averaging and filtering operations, while directional decision unit (102-2C) determines a boundary breach condition. An adaptive threshold unit (102-2D) dynamically adjusts detection parameters according to environmental conditions, and false detection suppression unit (102- 2E) validates the determined boundary breach condition using confidence-based analysis before generation of a boundary breach notification. Upon validation, alert mechanism (102-3) generates a local alert and wireless communication interface (102-4) transmits a notification to user computing device (104).
