Abstract: ABSTRACT WEARABLE THERMAL SENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPATIAL TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT The invention relates to a thermal screening system (100) for acquiring spatially distributed temperature information from a thyroid region. The system (100) comprises a wearable sensing assembly (102) having a flexible biocompatible substrate and twenty graphene-based thermal sensing elements (S1–S20) arranged in a four-by-five matrix, a flexible printed circuit interconnect (104), a driver circuit (106) having first and second analog multiplexers, and a wireless microcontroller (108) configured to sequentially acquire electrical resistance signals and associate the signals with spatial indices to generate a two-dimensional spatial thermal distribution. A wearable thermal sensing patch (200) comprises a flexible biocompatible substrate (202), graphene-based thermal sensing elements (204), a flexible printed circuit interconnect (206), and a board-to- board connector (208). A method (300) comprises positioning (302), assigning spatial indices (304), controlling first and second multiplexers (306, 308), acquiring signals (310), associating signals with spatial indices (312), and generating (314) the two-dimensional spatial thermal distribution. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
