MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641100359 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on August 19, 2026, for Wearable Thermal Regulation System With Controlled Coolant Distribution.

Inventors include Padma J; Susmit Bhar; Tanish; Gundale Palak Pavan; Harsh Yadav; Avishkar Jaiswal; and Prasiddh Saha.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a wearable thermal regulation system (102). The system (102) may include a sensing unit (104), a fluid regulation unit (108), a thermal exchange unit (110), a power management unit (112), a protection unit (114), and a control unit (106) operatively coupled to the sensing unit (104) and the fluid regulation unit (108). The control unit (106) may be caused to receive body condition data, fluid condition data, and environmental condition data, determine a thermal condition and a rate of change, generate a fluid regulation signal based on the rate of change and transmit the fluid regulation signal to the fluid regulation unit (108) prior to the thermal condition reaching a predefined threshold, and generate and transmit a thermal exchange signal to the thermal exchange unit (110).
