The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: A wearable seizure detection system (100) and method thereof are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a wrist-worn device (102) housing a processor (104) and a memory (106) storing instructions that cause the processor (104) to acquire, via a multimodal signal acquisition unit (108), a plurality of biosignal streams comprising inertial measurement unit data, photoplethysmography data, electromyography data, and body temperature data. A baseline learning unit (110) constructs and continuously updates user-specific physiological baseline model using incremental learning. A seizure detection unit (112) generates seizure detection signal upon detecting concurrent deviations of two or more biosignal streams from the user-specific physiological baseline model. A seizure confirmation unit (114) confirms seizure detection signal by verifying pathological muscle electrical activity in the electromyography data to generate confirmed seizure detection signal. An alert escalation unit (120) executes hierarchical alert protocol comprising plurality of sequentially escalating alert stages in response to confirmed seizure detection signal.
