The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A wearable safety device (100) for providing navigation and alerts to a user is disclosed. The wearable safety device (100) includes an enclosure (101) adapted for continuous body-worn operation. The wearable safety device (100) includes a control unit (102) having a processor (202) and a memory (204). The control unit (102) receives location information from a location determination unit (104) and sensor data from one or more sensing units (106), processes the location information to determine whether the wearable safety device (100) is outside a predefined safe zone, and correlates the sensor data with the location information to determine a risk condition. The control unit (102) generates a pre-alert signal via a user interface unit (108), evaluates persistence of the risk condition and a change in severity thereof to detect an emergency condition, and, in response, generates an alert signal and provides navigation instructions to a stored safe location via the user interface unit (108).
