Abstract: ABSTRACT WEARABLE NAVIGATION APPARATUS WITH INERTIALLY ADAPTIVE DETECTION AND STAGED ANNOUNCEMENT SCHEDULING A wearable navigation apparatus includes an imaging sensor (101), a co-located inertial sensor (102), a processor (202) with a neural accelerator (201) executing an object detector (210) having an acceptance threshold in a threshold register (410), and a guidance actuator (300). An inertial adaptation unit (400) writes into the threshold register (410), before detection, an acceptance threshold value that decreases with a motion magnitude computed once per cycle and is bounded below by a floor value. A threat prioritization unit (700) computes for each detection a threat control value from class-calibrated proximity rank, centrality, apparent size and a convergence term. An eligibility comparator (710) admits the highest-ranked detection above an eligibility threshold, and an announcement scheduling engine (800) gates it through a persistence counter (810), a suppression timer (820), an escalation comparator (840) and a global timer (830) before driving the actuator (300) to a modified state (900).
