MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611100984 A) filed by Poornima University; Dr. Pragya Mishra; and Dr. Sonia Kaur Bansal on August 20, 2026, for Wearable Multi-Sensory Glove System For Tactile And Fragrance-Based Stimulation.

Inventors include Dr. Pragya Mishra; and Dr. Sonia Kaur Bansal.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a therapeutic glove system comprising a glove body having an inner surface and an outer surface, a plurality of acupressure beads embedded adjacent to the inner surface, a fragrance pouch containing a fragrance-retaining medium impregnated with one or more fragrant oils, and predetermined coloured regions formed on the outer surface. The acupressure beads are retained within enclosed pockets to transfer localized compressive force during repeated deformation of the glove body. The fragrance pouch includes a porous enclosure configured to progressively diffuse fragrance in response to cyclic compression and recovery of the fragrance-retaining medium. The coloured regions maintain a predetermined positional relationship with the embedded acupressure beads and the fragrance pouch throughout repeated deformation of the glove body. A corresponding method operates the therapeutic glove system through successive compression and recovery cycles that concurrently produce localized tactile interaction, controlled fragrance diffusion, and continuous visual exposure.
