Abstract: A wearable health monitoring and emergency response device, comprising a wearable vest 101 structured to cover a user’s chest and upper back portion, a plurality of ECG (Electrocardiogram) electrodes 201 to continuously record the electrical signals in the heart, a plurality of inflatable pressure patches to get in contact with the chest and sense thoracic expansion, chest wall displacement, respiratory effort, heartbeat-induced oscillations, posture changes, and collapse events, an analysis module to detect cardiac abnormalities including ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation, a predictive cardiovascular module to analyze long-term physiological trends and predict impending cardiac instability, a defibrillation module to verify life-threatening arrhythmias and deliver controlled electrical therapy based on patient-specific parameters, an emergency communication module to transmit alerts, physiological parameters, and location data to caregivers on registered contact numbers emergency medical services, and healthcare facilities.
