MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611080810 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University on June 30, 2026, for Wearable Diabetic Management Device.

Abstract: A wearable diabetic management device, comprises of a wearable member 101 adapted to be worn on an abdominal or waist region by a user, a miniaturized fiber optic Raman spectroscopy probe 104 integrated on an inner side of the member 101 and configured to emit near infrared excitation light into a dermal layer of a user, an ECG equivalent bioelectric acquisition patch integrated on inner side of the member 101 to continuously acquire cardiac electrical activity signals and derive heart rate variability parameters, a motorized slider 106 arranged on outer periphery side of the member 101 to move along a defined path on the outer periphery of the member 101 to allow an electronically controlled micro-nozzle 108 to dispense a metered micro-dose of the therapeutic oil onto skin of the user, and an artificial intelligence- based control module to compute a real-time glucose trend and physiological stress index.
