Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart wearable safety device in the form of a ring configured to detect drink tampering substances and generate emergency safety alerts. The device comprises an outer ring body housing a chemical sensor module (106), a microcontroller (102) unit, a wireless communication module, an alert system including LED indicators (101) and vibration motor (102), and a rechargeable power source. The sensor module is configured to detect harmful substances commonly associated with drink spiking, including drugs such as Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB), Rohypnol, Ketamine, and abnormal alcohol concentration levels. Upon detection of unsafe substances, the device provides immediate alerts to the wearer through visual and tactile notifications. The ring further communicates with a companion mobile application through wireless connectivity to transmit alert signals. The application activates a GPS-based emergency protocol to share the user’s real-time location with pre-selected trusted contacts.
