Abstract: Wearable Augmented Reality Glasses for Real-Time Deepfake and Broadcast Authenticity Verification This invention describes a wearable augmented-reality smart glasses system configured for real-time detection and verification of synthetic or manipulated audiovisual media. The system captures visual and acoustic information within the user’s field of view and analyzes the observed content using embedded edge-based artificial intelligence processing. A plurality of multimodal detection mechanisms evaluates indicators associated with synthetic media generation, including generative visual artifacts, facial micro-expression irregularities, voice spectral anomalies, behavioral signature deviations, broadcast watermark authentication patterns, and optical display rendering artifacts. The outputs of the detection mechanisms are aggregated to generate an authenticity confidence score representing the probability that the observed media is artificially generated or manipulated. Authenticity indicators are presented to the wearer through an augmented-reality visualization interface, and alert mechanisms notify the user when authenticity confidence falls below predetermined thresholds. A distributed consensus verification network further enhances reliability by aggregating anonymized authenticity metrics from multiple observing devices.
