Abstract: TITLE OF INVENTION : WEARABLE ASSAY DEVICE AND METHODS THEREOF The present disclosure discloses a wearable assay device (100) including a sample pad (105) to receive a biological sample, a control pad (107) disposed downstream of the sample pad (105), a conjugate pad (109) disposed downstream of the control pad (107), a detection pad (111) disposed downstream of the conjugate pad (109), and an absorbent pad (113) disposed downstream of the detection pad (111). The control pad (107) is made of a fluid-soluble polymer, and defines a narrowed geometry. The conjugate pad (109) includes a plurality of test antibodies ‘x’ conjugated to at least one reporter each. The detection pad (111) defines a test region ‘T’ having a plurality of test antibodies ‘y’ immobilized thereon. The control pad (107) is configured to undergo structural failure upon passage of a predetermined volume of the biological sample, creating a permanent air gap between the sample pad (105) and the conjugate pad (109).
