Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a multifunctional dental wax knife designed to improve efficiency and precision in dental laboratory procedures. Conventional wax knives are limited to cutting and shaping functions and require frequent reheating and reapplication of wax, resulting in mate~iaLwastage and reduced-accuracy. The-proposed invention integrates-a molten wax.reservoir into the instrument, allowing temporary storage and controlled use of wax during procedures. The reservoir is designed with a contoured or beaded edge to prevent spillage and enable efficient collection. Additionally, the instrument incorporates a leveling feature that assists in achieving uniform wax thickness, thereby improving the quality of dental models and restorations. The dual-ended design combines cutting, shaping, storage, and leveling functions into a single tool, reducing the need for multiple instruments. The invention enhances workflow efficiency, minimizes material waste, and improves precision in dental applications. The ergonomic structure ensures ease of handling and suitability for repeated use in clinical and laboratory settings.
