Abstract: Abstract Wax Flip is a compact dual-ended dental wax knife with a total length of 10 to 15 centimeters. It features a single metal piece with a wax carving blade on one end and a leveling edge on the other, housed in a handle with a flip-action axial mechanism. A notch-and-bump locking system secures whichever end is in use. An NTC thermistor sensor inside the handle measures blade temperature in real time, displayed on a four-digit LCD. Three LEDs indicate temperature status: yellow below 65°C (underheated), green between 65°C and 85°C (ideal), and red above 85°C (overheated), calibrated for occlusal rim wax manipulation. A rechargeable battery powers all electronic components.
