Abstract: A waterless cleaning and waste management system for railway platforms, comprising a cuboidal structure 101, a touchscreen display 109 for inputs regarding initiation of a cleaning operation, a motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 with extendible rods 103 for movement, a first compartment 201 employing cascading vertical sliders 202 to divide the compartment 201 into three sections to store biodegradable waste, non-biodegradable waste, and plastic/metal waste, a slider gate assembly 203, to automatically open to allow the waste to pass for further processing, a segregating arrangement includes a linear arm 204 traverses on a motorized dual-axis linear slider 205 and a wedge shaped plate 206 pushes the corresponding waste into the respective segment, a gripper 104 to pick up the detected garbage, a plurality of UV-C LEDs 107 to eliminate residual microbial contaminants, and a motorized exhaust fans 207 to suck the air that is filtered by the integrated filters.
