MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641114577 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on September 24, 2026, for Water Dispensing System For Water Quality Management.

Inventors include Ravi Prakash Dwivedi; Ritam Pandey; and Sai Mithil K.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a water dispensing system (100). The water dispensing system (100) includes a sensor assembly (102) to detect water quality data, a valve assembly (104) to control water flow through a dispensing channel (106), and a controller (202). The controller (202) receives the water quality data, determines a water quality pattern using a learning model, and generates an adaptive quality profile based on the water quality pattern. The controller (202) determines a real-time quality condition and a quality variation based on the adaptive quality profile. The controller (202) determines a flow control parameter corresponding to the quality variation and actuates the valve assembly (104) based on the flow control parameter to control the flow of water through the dispensing channel (106).
