Abstract: A water boiling assistive device, comprises of a body 101 positioned over a heat source, where a user is required to position a cooking vessel over the body 101, a pair of motorized grippers 103 to grip ends of the vessel during a cooking operation, a plurality of thermal sensors to continuously monitor the temperature of the vessel during the cooking operation, a pair of extendable rods 104 to lift the vessel away from the heat source when overheating is detected so that food inside the vessel is protected from burning, a pair of handles 105 to facilitate easy carrying and positioning of the device, a motorized roller 108 with a sheet 109 to deploy the sheet 109 over the cooking vessel via a robotic arm 110 and an alarm unit 111 to alert the user upon detection of overheating, low water level, or abnormal cooking conditions.
