Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: WATER BASED DIRT PICK-UP RESISTANCE ADDITIVE COMPOSITION An improved water based dirt pickup resistant (DPUR) coating additive for incorporation in coating formulations for coating various substrates is provided, which is synthesizable based on acrylic route by reacting suitable monomers in specific solvent in the presence of suitable initiator to attain said DPUR coating additive that is water dispersible whereby regular coatings with 3-8% of the prepared DPUR additive picked much lesser amount of dirt as compared to the control samples.
