Abstract: A waste sorting device, comprising a cylindrical housing 101, a display unit 104 to facilitate a user to enter details regarding mobile number, waste type, and other relevant information, at least four vertical cascading plates 201 to get extend and segregate a first section 207 into parts designated for plastic, metal, food, and biomedical waste, an inspection unit 202 to analyse deposited waste and detect its type, a circular slider 203 to translate and position an articulated gripper 204 and a motorized cutter 205 for grasping and cutting plastic bags and places the waste within respective part, a sliding door 206 to open and transfer waste into respective compartments of a multi sectioned compartment box 208, a motorized guiding rail 210 to translate and position an L shaped pneumatic pusher 211 to compact waste, a plurality of iris apertures 212 to drain excess water into a storage tray 213.
