Abstract: A walking motion simulation assistive device for workout, comprises of a U-shaped body 101 having a first and second portion, developed to be mounted on a ground surface, a U-shaped handle bar 103 is installed at upper ends of second portion that is gripped by a user to access body 101, a pair of L-shaped rods 104 configured with a plate 105 at lower end of each rod 104 to accommodate the user’s right and left feet on the plates 105, an imaging unit 106 to determine height of the user, a touch interactive display panel 108 to provide input specifications regarding parameters such as age, fitness level, and health conditions, a force sensor for detecting push force to be applied by the user on plates 105, and a DC motor 109 for providing reciprocating rotation to the rods 104 to simulate a walking motion in the user’s legs.
