Abstract: A walking assistive device comprises of a rectangular base 101 is developed to be positioned over the ground surface, a pair of elongated first supports 103 to extend beyond the rear edge of the base 101, a pair of elongated second supports 104 to extend beyond the front edge, a motorised omnidirectional wheels 105 for locomotion of the base 101, a plurality of pressure sensors to detect a pressure applied by the user, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 for recording and processing images, a LIDAR (light detection and ranging) sensor determine an obstacle in front during walking, a gyroscopic sensor detects an angular position of the base 101, a microphone 108 for receiving an audio command, a PPG (Photoplethysmogram) detects an unusual heart rate and blood pressure of the user.
