Abstract: ABSTRACT W-TYPE STRONTIUM HEXAFERRITE-BASED PHOTOANODE FOR NATURAL DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present invention relates to a W-type strontium hexaferrite-based photoanode for a natural dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) and its method of preparation. The DSSC comprises a working electrode (100), a counter electrode (200), and an inorganic-organic blended electrolyte layer (300). The working electrode (100) acting as photoanode includes an AZO-coated glass plate (101), a TiO2 nanoparticle layer (102), a W-type strontium hexaferrite composite layer (103), and a natural dye sensitizer layer (104) made from 1:1:1 volume ratio blend of Punica granatum grains, Selenicereus undatus fruit, and Murraya koenigii leaves, coated over the hexaferrite layer (103). The counter electrode (200) features a carbon-based graphite layer (201) applied on an FTO-glass plate (202). The electrolyte layer (300) consists of a polyaniline polymer matrix blended with an iodine-based redox couple. (Figure 1-2)
