Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a voice-controlled radiography console for contact-reduced control of radiographic imaging equipment. The console comprises a console housing supporting an operator-facing interface and control circuitry, a microphone array carried by the console housing for receiving an operator voice command, and a signal processing unit operatively connected to the microphone array for generating processed command audio from the operator voice command. A voice recognition module converts the processed command audio into command data, and a workflow control unit validates the command data against stored radiographic workflow settings. A feedback system generates an operator confirmation output corresponding to the command data. An equipment interface operatively connected to the workflow control unit transmits a validated imaging command to radiographic imaging equipment, thereby enabling voice-based workflow control with command validation and operator confirmation before equipment communication.
