Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (300) of voice-based interaction. The system (100) provides multilingual voice-based interaction by receiving a user utterance through an audio input device (104) and processing corresponding audio data using a processor (102-2). The processor (102-2) adjusts the audio data for ambient noise, identifies the spoken language, and converts recognized words and phrases into textual query data. A memory (102-4) stores the textual query data, language information, conversational information, and intermediate processing data. The processor (102-2) determines the meaning, intent, and context of the textual query and processes the determined information using a generative artificial-intelligence model to generate a context-aware textual response. The processor (102-2) evaluates and converts the generated response into synthesized speech, and an audio output device (106) reproduces the synthesized speech as audible output for a user.
