Abstract: The VitalAir hazardous gas sensing system comprises a central microcontroller unit (1) positioned inside a protective device enclosure (13) and energized by an optimized power supply (5) to continuously monitor confined industrial spaces. The microcontroller unit (1) processes analog signals from a multi-gas sensor array (2) alongside ambient readings from a co-located temperature sensor (9) and humidity sensor (10) to execute dynamic signal filtering, automatic calibration, and error correction. When toxic gas levels surpass predefined safety thresholds, the microcontroller unit (1) triggers local LED indicators (11) and a buzzer (12) mounted on the device enclosure (13) to emit instant flashing visual warnings and audible alarms. For continuous remote tracking, the microcontroller unit (1) routes calibrated, timestamped gas concentration metrics via a dual-pathway interface featuring a wireless WiFi module (3) and a wired Ethernet port (4) to a secure cloud database (6). This stored data is automatically pushed from the cloud infrastructure to an interactive browser-based web dashboard (7) for real-time control room visualization. Simultaneously, the cloud platform dispatches automated, instant remote email notifications and push alerts directly to a mobile application (8) on the handheld devices of safety personnel. This energy-efficient, integrated hardware and software assembly combines Al-driven predictive analytics with robust dual-network communication to ensure rapid emergency response and regulatory safety compliance.
