Abstract: A vital health monitoring device, comprising a C-shaped body 101 whose first side is to be clamped in between two consecutive fingers of a user, a push button 102 to activate/deactivate the device, a display screen 103 to display a notification to notify the user to position the a second side of the body 101 with the skin, along with displaying a clip, depicting an appropriate way to position the body 101 in contact with patient’s skin, a sensing module includes but not limited to a temperature sensor, PPG sensor, and bio impedance sensor, to detect temperature, heartrate, and rate of respiration respectively, a microphone 104 to provide command for cold compress, a gel pack 105 integrated with a Peltier unit 106 to generate cooling effect in order to cool the gel for facilitating cold compress, a UV(ultraviolet) based sanitization unit 107 for sanitizing the body 101.
