Abstract: ABSTRACT VISION-GUIDED AQUATIC SURFACE CLEANING ROBOT WITH FINE-MESH WASTE COLLECTION The present invention relates to a vision- guided aquatic surface cleaning robot (10) for collecting floating waste and fine plastic fragments from freshwater bodies. The robot (10) comprises a buoyant pontoon hull having first and second pontoons (24, 26), a structural deck (16), an embedded controller (18), a camera unit (12), an antenna (14), a motor management unit (20), a power management module (22), differential propulsion motors (28) with propellers (30), and an inclined conveyor assembly (36). The conveyor assembly (36) includes a fine-mesh collection surface having approximately 150-micrometre mesh size, a conveyor frame (38), support rails (40), conveyor drive arrangement (42), conveyor motor (44), and collection bin (46) with screened portion (48). The camera unit (12) provides live visual information through a wireless web-based interface, enabling smartphone-based navigation, while the conveyor assembly (36) collects floating macro-debris and fine plastic fragments and transfers the collected material into the collection bin (46). The integrated arrangement provides remote aquatic cleaning with reduced human exposure to contaminated water. Figure-1
