Abstract: In a vibration generation device (100) for a vehicle, a region identification unit (156) identifies, on the basis of the rotational speed of an engine and a throttle opening degree, whether an engine operating state, which is the operating state of the engine, belongs to an acceleration region, a deceleration region, or a boundary region between the acceleration region and the deceleration region, and according to the region identified by the region identification unit (156), a vibration generation control unit (158) increases or decreases the throttle opening degree within the acceleration region, within the deceleration region, or straddling the boundary region across the acceleration region and the deceleration region, and thereby generates vibrations with respect to vibration generation control.
