MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611083688 A) filed by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University on July 08, 2026, for Vestibular Balance-Assist Headband.

Inventors include Amil Agarwal; and Ananya Jaiswal.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vestibular balance-assist headband comprising a wearable band, an inertial sensing unit, a controller, a haptic feedback unit, a vestibular stimulation unit, and a wireless interface. The inertial sensing unit is supported by the wearable band and generates movement data representing head tilt, sway, acceleration, angular movement, and movement direction. The controller determines an imbalance direction and an imbalance severity from the movement data by comparison with stored balance thresholds. The haptic feedback unit comprises spaced vibration elements selectively activated according to the imbalance direction and the imbalance severity. The vestibular stimulation unit comprises a stimulation circuit and electrodes for delivering controlled non-invasive vestibular stimulation only after the imbalance severity satisfies a stored stimulation condition. The wireless interface communicates session data and therapy-control settings with an external user interface. Fig. 1 Dated July 6, 2026 / Kumar Tushar Srivastava IN/PA- 3973 Agent for the Applicant
