MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541031255 A) filed by Hyorc Corporation on March 30, 2025, for Vertical Pulse Gas Combustor.
Inventor includes Mr. Manoharan Sundaralingam.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: “VERTICAL PULSE GAS COMBUSTOR” allows to convert the thrust force to mechanical energy, thereby improving thermal efficiency of combustor. The combustor comprises of an oxygen or air inlet nozzle (5) injecting air or oxygen to flow into combustion chamber when starting motor of engine part starts running. A pulse generating direct current (DC) motor (4) rotates shaft of gas fuel distributor (2) and ignitor coil distributor (3) so that hydrogen is injected into chamber using hydrogen inlet nozzle (1). A combustor vertex generator (8) allows light dense hydrogen and air mixture to pass through it. An ignitor distributor is interconnected with injector distributor shaft so that ignitor (7) starts to ignite the hydrogen and air mixture in the chamber thereby continuous pulse explosion take place in the chamber and huge heat flux starts to generate in a wall of the chamber. A water inlet nozzle (9) circulates water through an outer wall of the combustor to convert the mixture to a steam form. A steam nozzle (6) sends back produced steam into combustor to get additional mass flow rate to obtain additional thrust force. A thrust nozzle (10) makes produced pulse thrust steam to hit turbine blades to convert steam into mechanical energy for engine. Refer
