Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: Vermi-Trio Reactor A Vermi-Trio Reactor is provided for efficient nutrient recovery and ammonia removal from fish sludge in aquaponics systems or any other organic waste, more particularly, the reactor utilizes vertically stacked trays to convert fish sludge or any other organic waste into nutrient-rich vermicompost, vermiwash, and vermi-tea. Its vertical design constructed with durable, coated wooden trays optimizes space, enabling simultaneous production of solid and liquid biofertilizers ensuring stability during composting. An automated sensor system maintains optimal temperature and humidity for Eisenia fetida or Perionyx excavates, enhancing decomposition and nutrient cycling. Integrating the Vermi-Trio Reactor into soilless farming promotes a closed-loop system, reducing environmental impact and minimizing reliance on synthetic fertilizers.
