Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a vehicle (100) and a method (300) for starting an engine (118) of the vehicle (100). The method (300) performed by a control unit (122) of the vehicle (100) includes detection of one or more operating conditions related to a power source associated with the vehicle (100) while at least one manual starter (120) starts the engine (118). Further, the control unit (122) transmits a first signal to the bypass chamber (216). The first signal corresponds to the operation of the bypass chamber (216) in the open state (202). Furthermore, the control unit (122) receives a second signal from the throttle valve (210). The second signal corresponds to the closed position (222) of the throttle valve (210). In response to the closed position (222) of the throttle valve (210), the control unit (122) then generates a learned value corresponding to the second signal.
